Apprentice Programme

A cooperation programme between the Semperoper Ballet and the Palucca Hochschule initiated in 2006, 12 young dancers are able to benefit from a Year-long Apprenticeship working with the Semperoper Ballet combined with a full course of study at the Palucca Hochschule.

Special classes for the Apprentices include pas de deux, repertoire and improvisation amongst others, which, are organised around the performances with the Semperoper Ballet.  The Programme serves as a springboard into the Professional dance world and acceptance into the Programme is by audition only, held in conjunction with the Semperoper Ballet and a Commission from the Palucca Hochschule.
