Bachelor of Arts – Dance

Students discover dance as an integrated process. Over the course of lectures, seminars, daily training, artistic projects and excursions, students have the opportunity to develop their abilities and acquire a theoretical and practical knowledge of dance and related art forms.

This includes historical, perceptual, analytical, medical, organisational and media aspects. This course also provides numerous opportunities to stage performances, something that forms a vital part of the training. The Bachelor course was accredited in 2009.

Second career options

The B.A. degree in Professional Dance awarded by the Palucca University of Dance Dresden entitles students to study at all colleges and universities in the Free State of Saxony. This applies to the majority of federal states (Länder) in Germany.
