Applications and Enrolment

Enrolments for Professional Dance always to the winter semesters.

Matriculation for Postgraduate Studies Choreography take place every second year; in the winter semester of even years. The next enrolment is scheduled for the winter semester 2010/11.

Next enrolment for the four year undergraduate program in Dance Teacher Training is scheduled for the winter semester 2010/11.

The course of Postgraduate Studies Dance Teacher Training begins in the winter semester of even years. The next enrolment is scheduled for the winter semester 2010/11.

The emrolment for the Master Class programme can be made on request starting each winter semester.

The amount of students that can be enroled in the different programms is limited. For that reason each applicant has to pass an admission procedure. You will find further details under "admission requirements" as pasrt of the programme descriptions.

Foreign applicants need a current visa or a residence permit.

Applicants are required to submit documentation which demonstrates that they have undergone preparatory training in their country of origin which is officially recognized by the State Ministry for Science and the Fine Arts.

Students must have a sufficient knowledge of the German language.

Prior to matriculation for the Professional Dance course of studies students must have successfully passed the A2 level of the standarized German language proficiency test.

Prior to matriculation foreign Choreography students must have successfully passed the A2 level of the standarized German language proficiency test.

Studies of Dance Teacher Training require one of the following certificates: DSH1 or TDN3 or DSD or ZMP or Goethe Cert C1.

The Palucca-School offers language classes that support students whose first language is not German.
